The new engineering building is expected to be completed in December of 2008 and is located on the corner of Longhorn Drive and Southwest Road.  The new building will complement, not replace, Ottensman Hall, where engineering has been taught at UWP since 1966 and will consist of 33 Labs, 3 combination lab/classrooms, 8 classrooms, 6 computer labs, and student project space.  The new building will house the new emphases of MEMS/nanotechnology and bio-medical engineering and will include dedicated lab space for large-scale design projects.  Some of the degree programs offered in this building include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, and General Engineering.
